RECEIC Half day event “Interactive Stakeholder Workshop on RECEIC: Way Forward” on 24 November 2023, 10.00-14.00 hrs at FICCI Federation House, New Delhi.
Government of India under its G20 presidency has launched ‘Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy Industry Coalition (RECEIC)” during the 4th Working group Meeting of Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change Working Group on 27th July 2023. This is the first of its kind high-level initiative driven on encouraging resource efficiency and circular economy which is industry led, multi sectoral, independent and self-sustaining and will participate at the G20 RE dialogues. Currently, 40 business organizations including industries from Japan, Denmark & UK have joined the coalition as founding members. FICCI has been entrusted with the responsibility of secretariat basis its work since past 6 years and on recommendations from Industry.
The primary goal of this event was to gather insights and inputs from industry stakeholders, institutions, associations, and international coalitions on how to effectively manage RECEIC for maximum benefit to the circular economy, sustainability, and environmental sectors.

Mr Manish Sharma
Manish Sharma, Chairman of Panasonic Life Solutions India and South Asia, has over two decades of experience in the electronics sector, working with industry giants like LG, Samsung, and Haier. He plays a pivotal role in Panasonic's strategy and business development across consumer, enterprise, and industry divisions. Actively involved in India's manufacturing agenda, Manish is a key member of various FICCI committees and has significantly contributed to the electronics industry, including a past presidency at CEAMA.
