Working Group – Circularity in the Textile & Apparel Sector

India’s textile and apparel industry is at a critical juncture in its transition towards circularity. Growing regulatory focus, global demand shifts, and the need for sustainable practices present a unique opportunity to reposition India as a global circular sourcing hub.

This Working Group, anchored by RECEIC, brings together stakeholders across government, industry, and civil society to drive coordinated action. Key focus areas include policy input, pilot projects, scalable circular interventions in clusters and PM MITRA Parks, capacity building, technology demonstrations, and marketplace solutions.

The Working Group aims to deliver actionable insights, collaborative models, and on-ground impact—positioning the sector for global leadership in circularity by 2030.
